Start sending emails from YOUR branded domain (e.g., you@yourrestaurant.com).
Using a branded email domain builds trust and reinforces your brand with every message you send. It helps reduce the chances of emails landing in spam folders and increases open rates. Customers are more likely to engage with emails that look professional and recognizable. It’s a simple way to enhance credibility and brand consistency.
Why Custom Domain?
Prevent emails from going to SPAM.
In order to do that you will need to update you domain DNS records.
Adding the following parameters: DMARC / DKIM / SPF in your DNS records needed to pass spam filters.
Big email providers ( Google / yahoo / Outlook) made updates in 2023 to make these required in the DNS records of a domain to match with its web-host. If you use an email sending service ( something like mailchimp ) there are additional settings to adjust too.
How to set it up?
Go to Advanced Settings -> Custom Domain
Under the Hosting tab, go to Email Sending, and update the following fields:
Once you add your email, you should see the following records are generated:
Please copy those records to your web-host.
Once completed it should be refreshed up to 24 hours.
