Welcome to Your AppFront Portal
The AppFront portal is your central hub for managing your online ordering experience — from viewing orders and customer data to running marketing campaigns and editing your website. This guide walks you through the key sections so you can get up and running quickly.
Logging In
Visit portal.appfront.ai and sign in with your email address. If it's your first time, check your inbox for a password reset email from AppFront.
Tip: Bookmark the portal URL so it's easy to find later. If you ever get locked out, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.
Insights
The Insights page is your dashboard. Here you'll find:
Orders — a live and historical view of all online orders placed through your AppFront storefront
Revenue & metrics — order totals, average ticket size, and trends over time
Delivery heat map — a visual map of where your delivery customers are located, useful for targeting your marketing and SEO efforts
Reviews — customer feedback submitted through your online ordering platform; you can respond to reviews directly from this page
This is a great page to check daily to stay on top of your orders and customer activity.
Website Editor
AppFront gives you the ability to edit your online ordering website directly from the portal — no technical experience required.
Navigate to the Website section in the left-hand sidebar
Make your changes and click Save
Changes go live within approximately 15 minutes
Tip: Make sure your homepage includes a visible sign-up box so new customers can easily create a loyalty account.
Campaigns
The Campaigns section lets you communicate with your customers via email and SMS.
Automated Campaigns
AppFront automatically sends lifecycle messages based on customer behavior — for example, a win-back email to customers who haven't ordered in a while, or a follow-up after a first order. These run in the background without any action needed from you.
Group Campaigns
You can also send manual campaigns to specific groups of customers:
Navigate to Groups in the sidebar
Select the audience you want to reach
Create your message (email or SMS) and send or schedule it
This is great for announcing new menu items, seasonal promotions, or special events.
Loyalty Program
Your AppFront loyalty program rewards customers for every order they place.
Customers earn 1 point per $1 spent by default
Points can be redeemed for rewards you configure — for example, 100 points = a free menu item
Rewards are set up as coupons tied to specific menu items in your portal
Customers can see their points balance and available rewards directly in your online ordering app.
Managing Staff Access
You can give team members their own login to the portal so they can view orders and Insights.
Go to Advanced Settings → Users
Click Invite Admin and enter their email address
They'll receive an email invitation to set up their account
We recommend giving a manager, host, or counter person access so they can monitor orders in real time from the Insights page.
