🌐 How to Edit Your Website in AppFront

Want to update your website? You can make changes anytime — no developer needed. This guide walks you through the basics 👇

🚀 Getting Started

  1. Log into your AppFront Portal

  2. Select your Location

  3. Go to:

    • Designer → Website


✏️ What You Can Edit

You can update:

  • Text (headlines, descriptions)

  • Images

  • Buttons (like “Order Now”)

  • Pages (add/remove sections)

  • Navigation (top menu)


🧱 Editing Your Homepage

Your homepage is made up of sections stacked on top of each other.

To edit a section:

  1. Click into the section (ex: Hero, About, etc.)

  2. Update:

    • Title

    • Description

    • Button text/link

  3. Click Save


🖼️ Updating Images

  • Click into any section with an image

  • Upload a new image or replace the existing one

💡 Tip: Use high-quality food photos — they make a huge difference


🔘 Updating Buttons

Each section can have a button (CTA), like:

  • Order Now

  • View Menu

  • Contact Us

To update:

  1. Click the section

  2. Find the button settings

  3. Choose where it links:

    • Online ordering

    • Another page

    • External link


📄 Adding or Editing Pages

To manage pages:

  1. Go to Pages

  2. You can:

    • Edit existing pages (Our Story, Contact, etc.)

    • Add new pages (Catering, Careers, etc.)

💡 New pages will automatically appear in your navigation


🧭 Editing Navigation (Top Menu)

  • Go to Navigation settings

  • Reorder or rename pages

  • Update your main button (top right)


📍 Add Areas You Serve (Helps Customers Find You)

You can list:

  • Cities

  • Neighborhoods

  • Nearby landmarks

This helps your website show up in Google searches like:

“Food near me”


❓ Adding FAQs (Highly Recommended)

FAQs help customers and improve search visibility.

Examples:

  • Do you offer delivery?

  • Do you cater?

  • What areas do you serve?


📝 Contact Forms

If you add a form:

  • Make sure to set where submissions go (email)


🎨 Design Options

You can adjust:

  • Light or dark theme

  • Colors and buttons

  • Layout of sections


🧪 Preview vs Publish

  • Preview/Test Mode → See changes before going live

  • Publish → Makes your updates live on your website


🌐 Going Live on Your Domain

If you want your website on your own domain (like yourrestaurant.com):

  • You’ll need access to your domain provider (GoDaddy, etc.)

  • Our team can help you connect it


💡 Pro Tips

  • Keep text simple and clear

  • Add real photos of your food

  • Highlight what makes you unique

  • Make sure “Order Now” is easy to find
