This article recaps the "turning journeys on" and template walkthrough segment of our Customer Journeys & Drip Campaigns webinar (AppFront Growth Series, Campaigns 201).
Turning journeys on
Journeys live under Marketing Plus in the left-hand menu of the AppFront portal. If you don't see it, or you see a "request beta/access" prompt instead of the template list, reach out to your customer success rep or open a support ticket to get it enabled.
Activation, 2nd Purchase & 3rd Purchase
These templates onboard a new sign-up and then drive them toward their second and third visits. You can duplicate a journey you've already built, so once your activation flow is set, it's quick to reuse that structure for the 2nd- and 3rd-purchase flows.
Review journey
Sends a push or SMS after a purchase asking the guest to leave a review inside the app. This is worth flagging clearly: these reviews are internal to AppFront only — they are not pushed to Google or the app store. It's a private pulse-check your team manages and can respond to (including sending a compensation campaign for a win-back) from the Marketing Pro/Plus section.
Lapsed (missing-action) journey
Targets guests who've gone quiet, with pre-built 30/60/90-day intervals. These starting points are meant to be adjusted to your own concept and typical visit cadence.
Tiers
Moves guests through a spend- or behavior-based tier structure. Because of how strategic and business-specific this build is, it's recommended you loop in your customer success rep before setting it up.
Locations
Covered in full in the next article — this template auto-tags guests by the location(s) they've visited, which is especially valuable for multi-unit brands.
Next up: a closer look at location-based journeys, including the backfill feature.
