Marketplace β†’ Menu Manager

πŸ‘‰ This is the source of truth for everything AppFront pulls into your ordering system.


πŸ“₯ No Menu Showing? Import from POS

If your menu is not visible in Menu Manager:

  1. Click Import from POS

  2. Select your POS menu

  3. Allow it to populate into Menu Manager

πŸ“Œ Important:
AppFront can only pull menus that exist inside Menu Manager β€” not directly from the POS.

Within Menu Manager β†’ Item Settings:

  • Open any item

  • Look for availability / channel settings

  • βœ… Check the box for AppFront

πŸ‘‰ Only items enabled for AppFront will appear in your online ordering.


πŸ’² Step 2: Set Pricing for AppFront

You can control pricing directly within Menu Manager:

  • AppFront can have its own unique pricing

  • By default, pricing is pulled from:

    • SkyTab Online pricing (if previously configured)

πŸ“Œ This allows flexibility if you want different pricing for online vs in-store.

Inside the Edit Item screen:

  • Scroll down to find:

    • Image upload β†’ this is what AppFront displays

    • Online Name

    • Online Description

These fields are NOT automatically pulled from your POS

  • Items may appear without descriptions

  • Images will not show in AppFront

  • Your menu must be assigned to a schedule

  • AppFront pulls:
    πŸ‘‰ The schedule, not just the menu itself

Inside the schedule:

  • You can view all items included

  • You’ll see which platforms they are assigned to

  • Look for the AppFront icon to confirm items are syncing


βœ… How Sync Works (Quick Summary)

To ensure your menu appears correctly in AppFront:

βœ” Menu exists in Menu Manager
βœ” Items are enabled for AppFront
βœ” Online name, description, and image are filled out
βœ” Menu is assigned to an active schedule


🚨 Common Issues

  • ❌ Menu not showing β†’ Not imported into Menu Manager

  • ❌ Items missing β†’ Not enabled for AppFront

  • ❌ No images/descriptions β†’ Online fields not filled in

  • ❌ Nothing syncing β†’ Menu not assigned to a schedule
