Using Modifier IDs in Campaign Rewards

How to find a menu item modifier's ID and use it to gift a discounted product (rather than a full menu item) in a campaign reward.

Overview

Campaign rewards can gift a specific menu item modifier (for example, a particular size or flavor) rather than a plain menu item. To do this, you'll need that modifier's ID.

Finding a Modifier ID

  1. Go to the item's modifier in your menu.

  2. Click the green link next to the modifier.

  3. Copy the modifier ID.

Adding It to a Campaign

  1. In Campaigns, create or edit a reward (for example, a compensation coupon).

  2. Choose Gift a discounted product.

  3. Instead of picking an item from the menu dropdown, paste the modifier ID into the field.

  4. To include multiple modifiers, separate each ID with a comma.

  5. Save the campaign.

Tip: send the campaign to yourself and redeem it as a test before sending it to customers.
